dr. Randall Cofield

Pastor

Randall is married to Cindy (Hill) Cofield, and they have three children and eight grandchildren. He has been privileged to pastor churches in Kentucky and Mississippi for the past 20 years. Randall received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from William Carey University and his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Most recently, Dr. Randall completed his Doctor of Educational Ministry degree at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Randall is irrevocably convinced that the Word of God provides for us all things that pertain to life and godliness in the present world, and that there is salvation in none other than the Lord Jesus Christ.

Liam Openshaw

Youth Pastor

Liam Openshaw, is the Youth Pastor here at Pine Lake and has been since September 2021 . Liam, or “Coach O” as the students call him is married to Jessica Cofield Openshaw and they have three children: Liam Michael, Lily, and Lettie Jo. Liam is a teacher and coach at Vancleave High school, where he teaches math and coaches boys basketball. Liam was born and raised in Whitchurch, England and became an exchange student at Hattiesburg High School in 2005, before attending William Carey University. It was in 2008 during his time at WCU when Liam was converted by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He and Jessica were wed in 2011 and he was ordained into the ministry in 2015. The philosophy of the Youth Ministry at Pine Lake Baptist Church in Vancleave, MS is ‘‘to come alongside families in the raising of young people to become committed and active members in the local church, while growing in knowledge and faith, to the glory of Jesus Christ.’
